This metastable-beta alloy is strip-producible and cold-formable. The alloy is age-hardenable to a wide range of strengths. Beta-C is also being avaluated as extruded tubular for deep sour well applications. The alloy is superior resistant to general corrosion pitting-, crevice- and stress. Corrosion cracking in high temperature environments containing FeC13, NaC1, CO2 and H2S.
